The game is reminiscent of the classic "War" card game, typically played in casinos. Players draw a card each, and the one with the highest card takes the wager.
If there is a tie, players can choose to surrender and lose half of their bet or go to war for a chance to win big.
Going to war entails doubling the initial wager. If the player's card matches or beats the dealer's card, they win an even payoff on their raise. However, if the player's card ranks lower, they lose both bets.
